Frequently Asked Questions about Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) focuses on developing independence in daily tasks like writing, feeding, dressing, sensory processing, and improving fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive skills.
It is available for individuals of all ages who require sensory or physical motor skill development.
Many children experience sensory issues (hypersensitivity to sound, light, touch, etc). Our Dhanmondi center is equipped with a modern sensory integration setup to help children regulate their sensory responses during OT sessions.
Most children attend 2 to 3 sessions per week based on their initial clinical assessment and recommendation.
